This is my bean. At just six weeks along, we had a complication and were given a 50/50 chance the pregnancy would continue. When we saw a strong heartbeat on the screen - coming from such a tiny bean shape! At an age that is commonly aborted! - my protective maternal instincts kicked in, and I said, "Oh, this one will make it." I'm so thankful God chose to give us our Belle ("beautiful").
