Lori,
Bless you! I wandered to your blog this morning and was comforted. In the midst of homeschool angst (will spring ever come to MI?????, DH has a broken leg, all 5 DC are getting over the flu, i was in a fender bender this morning, got my first ticket, how am I supposed to direct my children's learning when I'm falling apart and I just want to call my mommy and bawl--can't she died 11 years ago.) reading your blog was refreshing. I'm calling off school. The olders can help the youngers find lunch and I'm going to fine fabric to start a scrappy 9-patch. Then I might just go curl up with it around me and take a nap!

Thank you so much for commenting on my blog, Barbara! You made my day, truly.
I love your attitude --- Yes, you most certainly should go sew something. There are days when academics are not the most important thing to teach, don't you think? Days when having a good attitude in spite of things or learning how to handle hard times can be taught, and today is that kind of day for you.
I'll be thinking of you today. God bless you, you are certainly in the thick of things right now! Things do seem to pile up all at once, don't they? But the sun will come out soon enough and it will be someone else's turn. :) I think a nap under a quilt sounds like just the thing for you today!

Lori,
I am an old friend from your old blog, and I love the new space. Have you ever been to Anna Maria Horner's blog?

You and she remind me of each other, and I think you'd enjoy her.
Love the studio, no matter how humble. I don't have one at all!
:-)

It looks so cozy and creatively organized! (Not organized too much so that it looks unlived in, but not a chaotic mess either. Just perfect! ) I'm inspired!

It all looks so beautiful! Can I come over & sew with you? My space is getting messy and it's not nearly as organized or well stocked. Yours oozes inspiration and creativity.
